Pickup your motorhome and acclimatise while driving the short distance to the capital city, Reykjavik. The city is easily walkable and the Hallgrimskirkja Church should be first on your list. It is a fascinating building with great views from the top of the tower. The Iceland National museum is nearby and a short walk along the seafront will take you out to the harbour. Be sure to try some to the local delicacy, fermented shark, while you are there!
